Carbon Peel

More commonly known as Carbon Peel, this treatment combining laser technology and charcoal benefits is perfect to regain a healthy and smooth skin. It is suitable for all skin types and does not cause any side effects or social eviction with convincing and immediate results, hence its popularity. Acting like a gentle peel, pores are tightened, irregularities are corrected and the skin is plumped up.
How does it work?
Before the session, a consultation is necessary to understand your expectations and to diagnose the feasibility of the treatment (condition and characteristics of the skin, possible results). Depending on the expected results, one session may be sufficient, for example to give a radiance boost, or several sessions to treat specific problems such as excess sebum and therefore acne. Sessions are usually spaced 2 weeks apart. The benefits of Carbon Peel are visible for several months depending on the condition of the skin, the type of skin and the lifestyle.
Course of a session - about 30min
A charcoal-based mask is applied to the face after it has been exfoliated and cleansed with a brush. This texture is composed mainly of activated charcoal, but also of a mixture of mineral mud extracted from volcanic stones, soothing mineral oils and plant extracts. This mask aims to penetrate deep into the pores of the skin to absorb all impurities. Its action also allows to matify the complexion.
When the mask is dry, the first laser treatment can begin. The treatment is painless, slight tingling and a warm effect can be felt. During this passage,
The laser will heat the charcoal pigments and the dermis, the laser energy is absorbed by the particles which, when heated, deliver a second thermal effect in the deep dermis. This action restimulates the production of collagen and elastin, proteins whose main roles are the regeneration and elasticity of skin cells. This step will therefore boost cell regeneration and improve fine lines as well as the quality and firmness of aged or damaged skin.
During the second pass, the pigments of the charcoal and the impurities they have captured are vaporized by the action of the laser. This micropeel not only deep cleanses the skin, but also tightens pores instantly for smooth, soft skin.
(A third pass can be offered to people who wish to bleach the down of their face in order to even out the complexion or to target the most marked areas).
Following the treatment, the skin is cleansed with a micellar water and a mask based on aloe vera and Skyclinic hyaluronic acid is applied directly to the treated areas to moisturize and soothe the skin.
Finally, a red LED session can be performed to stimulate the skin one last time and obtain optimal results.
Recommendations:
After the session, moisturize the skin and avoid exposure to the sun for a few hours. A moisturizing cream and sun protection must be applied for at least 3 days after the session.
Contraindications: Tanned persons / Persons having a photosensitizing treatment or by isotretinoin / Pregnant and nursing women.
